I'm a New Mexico (USA!) resident traveling in Guatemala.  I'm looking into buying a 1990 Brazilian Kombi 1600.  

I have a few questions that I'm hoping someone from the forum will be able to help me with!

First, I don't know anything about these Kombis (to be honest).
Second, will I be able to bring it back to the States?
Thrid, what do I look for while checking out the bus?
