Yeah I reckon its massively narrower... 
I like the new look, but when you compare it to how you had it. It looked sweeter and cared for.

Wow I like your new square.... but the old one was great! It's a real pity you couldn't get it over here.... 
And I love squares too... but I also like notchies and fasties - maybe one day I'll have to collect the set!
