Just thought I would share this one. During the Kinberley trip I met another camper (not VW) who gave me a tip for a fire lighter. He said save your old tea bags, soak then in a 50% mixture of metho and citronella, drip dry and store. Use them instead of a fire lighter. They burn for about 3 minutes for each tea bag. I can verify that they are just as the chap had said.

Kombi Dad,
I really have enjoyed your camping stories and cam ping trips. I'll have to pm you when we dicide to head over to get the low down on the trout fishing.
I use Dryer lint as fire starter also, it is dry and starts anything on fire.
