Has anyone seen (got pictures of) a luggage barrier in a kombi? Just thinking about when we take the 4 kids on holidays... _________________ Robert and Emma (and 4 kids so far)

Jail bars sound horrible, don't they? But sometimes very appropriate, especially when kiddies are involved!!
I'm not sure how the jail bars would work - they can either go across the back window or side back windows, but they wouldn't stop your luggage falling forward onto your kids.
I take it the luggage rack you want is one like they use in station wagons to - the ones with black mesh kind of metal? How's that for a technical description?? _________________ 1974 Microbus LOLA
yeah, black metal mesh thingo, that's what I am after.
I was thinking last night about making a complete list of parts needed, and the luggage barrier is pretty low priority....
I will check out Opposite Lock and similar places for one. I've been thinking about welding in a roof mount whilst the headliner is out. Might make it part of an overhead speaker cabinet and drawer.
