this is in my 66,aint original. anybody here able to ID it for me? IT AINT A BAY,ive been told,maybe country buggy.











the only numbers on it are: 20-08-045
                                        (2608) 80

GOT ME STUMPED!!

1955-1967 Steering boxes started with Part No 211-.

It should have numbers in 3 blocks from memory all VW parts are numbered this way. The 2 always starts Type 2 parts.

Country buggy used Type 3 Steering box which would start with a 11xxx No.

thanks brookie.
this one is a dodgie one,it has been confirmed as a VW  part. i must get the numbers of the pitman arm,and have a crack at that.
this bus came from indo,so : mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

ONE OF THOSE QUESTIONABLE ONES.
