pair of kadrons 4 2lt?....og from 1600.....

hi all....

i have a pair of kadrons that were on a 1600, can i use them on the 2lt while i rebuild the solex's on that (chokes arent working).....if i do, is there much mucking around involoved in setting up the K dogs?...i spose that 1stly they would have to be rejetted...would that be all?

I guess choke/throat/venturi sizes should be similar and jets wouldn't be that much difference.

Someone may have done this already.

yeah brookie..they're 40mm venturis as opposed to the 34's that are on it now.........if they're jetted for the 1600 then maybe they would be too lean for the 2lt......or is that a mixture solution? and the jetting is only a prob higher up in the rev range?

I am sure 40s are used on type 4 motors- are you on AVD?


We were running twin IDA 44s on 1500 beetle in 1964 Smile
