Hi all. Just a note to enquire if anybody knows of a solid-bodied, mechanically sound air cooled bus, 19 80-1983 for sale anywhere in WA? I've been looking for one of these babies for quite a few months with no luck. There have been a few in NSW and QLD but the distance from here is simply too great to consider investigating one seriously. Getting one back here is also tricky in the amount of free time I have available.

My plan is to buy a decent one, and spend a few years restoring it and turning it into a quite unique camper.

Patience will pay off in the end I'm sure. Just got to find the right one. Wink

Any leads or tips appreciated.

I saw one at Auto Europe in Midvale. Looks like its been there a while with plates but not sure of the deal with it.

Hi Keith,Bill at Volkswest has my old 89 caravelle for sale really clean,captains chairs etc,pwr str water cooled but you can always bolt in a 2 litre air cooled motor ,dont know what he wants for it but if your still looking give him a go.
