hey all just wondering, i have a 73 panelvan and its got the smaller front badge (thats in terrible cond) so i bought a new front badge off ebay and unfortunatley its for an earlier low light i think (its the really awsome big one, probs bout 30cm) but looking at it on the front of mine i was still keen to chuck it on so any ideas?

You can glue it on with something like Hard as Nails -Fast which will keep it on
forever or buy correct size which come with clips from Mick Motors.
You should have holes for clips in panel.

VW Badge.
I machined up some nylon plugs that pushed into the van holes and allowed the badge pronges to push into these holes.
Worked well.
I bought the nylon round rod from Transeals in Kewdale road, in Kewdale / Welshpool.
They sell as cut lengths and are open also on Sat morning.
