Phone around some of our Recommended Repairers such as Volkswest or Auto Europe or if you have defective alternator have it checked by an auto lecky.
There is also one of these in Recommended at Joondalup

| I had to buy a 2ltr one for my kombi urgently a few months back and Vee Dub Centre had a few on his shelf. Not sure if 2 ltr injected is any different to carby 2 ltr motor thou. I thought the price was reasonable and he does exchange as well too for a better price. |

| Try checking your regulator 1st. much easier to get at and cheaper then replacing an alternator. |

Hi Dave,
Probably internal/mounted on your model alternator-it would be very quick to get regulator and alternator checked properly before you buy etc.
It could be a loose connection or even a diode which auto electrician can check quickly.
Other members have posted re good service from here. Mention you are from KK
