Can anyone help me I looking to get rid of my Pop top and replace it with a retractable like roof cabrolete like. saw it done in a vw mag once can anyone tell where someone will do it ?

Can be done and sliding roofs were an option-not cheap but I would contact Trimtec for advice and cost.
You will find them in Recommended Services etc......
