It looks like the wax seal on the back of an envelope in the olden days!!

Is it that bung on the chassis rails (eg behind the front wheel arch), where you squirt in the fish-oil etc? I agree, it does look like a wax seal!

It is the pressing in Left hand footwell that would be taken out for steering column in LHD Bay Kombis
