"Tube Rods"? Do you mean the push rod tubes? If so you will need to back off all your tappet adjusters to take the push rods out, then the spring wire which holds all the push rod tubes in place and then the push rod tubes. This is for a type 4 motor of course. This is the good thing about the type 4 motor. You can remove the push rod tubes and change these seals with out unbolting the head.
