the old system is off, only took 3/4 hour. i split the 6 nuts with the hammer and chisel, 5 were pretty easy but one took bit longer as the pipe ind was in the way so i got mad and smashed it of with the hammy and all was good then. was easier than i was expecting, only because i wasnt sure how things went. now just got to find 6 bolts and nuts, i should have, but bunnings is a walk across the road.
All done and finished.

as you can see, bessie now has new exhaust system, no more back firing.
it was pretty easy to fit, just a bit awkward. now cathy cant hear me coming up the road, before she could hear me 2 blocks away. _________________ brian

Does it feel any more or less powerful with the new exhaust?
It's not a 4 into 1 system, but might be some slight improvement over the standard system that is absolute crap for performance or economy.
Does it sound ok? |

You can fairly much trust how it feels when your in the seat over any technical specs. I'm sure you'll see some slight improvement in fuel economy too. The standard system is really a dud from all I've experienced and researched.
I've always want to know how this system performed. Thanks for the feedback |

i will let you know more when can drive the highway, but at the moment its on stands and not moving. after doing the tappets on the weekend for the first time, i am waiting on some tubes rods and seals to do that job next. no mechanics here so have to finally learn it myself.
