Yes she was on good behavoir today, done a lot of surging for the first 70ks, I pulled up and had a look see, a wire had come of the left hand carby.but once i put it back on 100\110 she was very good.

Yes one rat stirrer is fixed up but more to go. Laughing

Still have to fit the new elbows that are down the bottom along side each carby. The ones on there are held on with cable tie. Not sure if this is the go or do you just plug them in. I have some hose clamps i can put on if need be.
I got my new carby kit and have not even opened it. Will chuck under the bed with all the other spares. Laughing

This forum is a bit quiet- backed Gulliver out of "carport" and gave a quick wipe over- cleaned some of tools out that won't be using again on interior etc.
Made mental list of "little" things to do. Smile

Just spent about 2 hours trying to get goldie to go. I went down the street in her 3 times this morning with no probs  and when i was going to move her out of the carport she said NO. But after cleaning battery terminals etc, i decided to go with the hammer and give the starter motor a good smack as i really thought this would be the problem. I did have to jack her up, i also tried to remove wheel to help but could only get one stud loose, will need to get a piece of pipe to carry. But after the smacking she is all good again. I think she just wanted to stay in the shade. Smile

Looked at her sitting in the driveway until Liam came home and was able to drive us to the shop.
My belly barely fits behind the wheel now (seat is close to the wheel so I can reach the gear stick and pedals! Laughing ) and Brigit's steering is too heavy for me without any tummy muscles to help out Sad

On Sunday 13th I took Ruby Dear down the road to Hartfield road and parked under a shady tree and cut about 20 long bamboo poles to use as teepee stakes for my tomato and capsicum bushes.
There is enough room with the rear window up to slide in the long bamboos up to the gap between the seats.
These work really well with cross pieces wired in every 300mm between the 3 side poles.
There is over 2 1/2 meters out of the ground and very sturdy.
Cheaper than hardware store poles.
No cost at all.
Just keep your eyes out for road side clumps of bamboo.

Nah, I didn't get any with my daughter so I don't really expect to this time, though that's the thing about birth, you never get what you expect!
We've got the birth pool inflated and ready to go and we're reading lots of bedtime stories about homebirth to our daughter but aside from that we're nowhere near as prepared as we were by this time last pregnancy  Shocked
