We've got a Nissan Patrol with 7 seats. With 4 kids we can just squeeze enough stuff in to stay at relatives for one night, and even going for a picnic takes up most of the space. And it is raised 2 inches, so I have to stand on a chair to check the water and oil. It does mean I have plenty of room to change the oil and filter. Still, it weighs nearly 3 tonnes and isn't practical for carting kids around.
Hence the microbus.
My daily drive to work and back is a Nissan Pulsar Reebok, nearly 20 yr old and still going really well. When the kombi is done I want to restore a beetle and ditch the pulsar. When the beetle is finished I want a Eureka.
I also love my scooter, like the one above but a bit more off-road. I race the kids down the drive-way. No brakes though...
This is 82 year old Millie. She is a 1926 Chrysler series 60 tourer. She had her rebirth last October; just in time to participate in Rallywest 2007.
She has a 6 cylinder 180 cubic inch flathead motor (just under 3 litre) driving through a 3 speed crash gearbox. It is fitted as original with 4 wheel hydraulic brakes.
She shares her garage with my '71 Low lite Camper!
Keith that is a beauty mate, I would love a ride in her one day please
Never been in anything older than...........? That got me thinking, perhaps a 60's vehicle is the earliest?
I had one of those as my wedding car. It stopped and they had to crank it up halfway to church _________________ Di

This is Amy. She is only a youngster at 75 years old. Her rebirth was in January this year. She is a 1932 Model RN, long wheelbase, de-luxe Austin Seven.
10.5 bhp (almost 8kW!) A veritable power house.
Interesting to think that the humble Austin Seven under various names was the first BMW, Jaguar, and Lotus. (That's true)
Amy also lives with Millie and my '71 lowlite. (As well as a couple of others!)
couple of very nice cars there guys. i believe the vintage scene is pretty big over here, do you drive them often? or just mainly do the club runs? always smile when i see something like these on the road, so much better looking than all the modern rubbish.
