Hey Brian, I'll pick you up a couple then (we'll have to get some more for Loona anyway)... let me know if there is anything else you need. _________________ ....Woz

Were you after the one on the left Brian? (if so, it turns out I have two spares ) - if you want the one on the right, I'll get you some when I also get some for Woger!
(yes, I picked up the wrong ones...!) _________________ ....Woz
Well I taped up the elbows and breather hose (just until I get some replacements) - and Woger is running better (he even needed a lot less warming-up than usual) so the vacuum/breather hoses were an overdue issue.
I also wire-brushed and rust-converted the exhaust, ready for its new paint (I am hoping the paint will last a couple of months longer that way!) _________________ ....Woz
Woger is soooo much better now..I just drove him down the road and he had a lot more power. He started really easily, he didn't shudder in first or reverse, didn't chug when I took off, and I didn't stall him when he was in reverse. Well done Woz!!! Doing the beer run was a pleasure _________________ "Consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative" (Oscar Wilde).
Sorry Woz.
Nothing will work on your exaust.
Try water based chalkboard paint. Used it on my old trail bikes and it lasted as long as the expensive cans properly applied. Easier to retouch. No prep.
There is a very good black like an etch but havent seen it for years. Will try the reps when they come next week but typically these young buggers have no idea what Im talking about.
And YES smart a.se Im sure its not me.!!

There was one called Motorspray by HiChem in Victoria but no one seems to have it. Used it on Beetles and Kombis and lasted well. Made in Australia so probably not made anymore
