Ha,

Yeah, im in the same position.  Suddenly thinking of all the things i need to do to it.  Furthest i've been in it is about 40k without stopping so far.  So 300k is gonna be a real test.

Oil change, tappets and timing checks all happening this weekend.  Oh and need to make a bed too!!!   Hmmm, nothing like last minute preperations!

If anyone needs a hand with decking out a bed
for the trip Pm me , Real handy with wood
plenty of space and tools , will trade my engine needs looking at

Cheers for the offer,  bit of a trek down to you though.  think i'll be able to create a make shift one for now but maybe in the future.

Might be able to help with the engine too......wouldn't profess to too much, but im in the middle of building myself a new one at the mo.  When i've finished i should know a thing or two that might help.

I have a rockn roll back seat and foam im not using at the
moment , If you get stuck it should only take 1 hour to transfer
Just drop it off on your way back through
