Hi all
how easy is it to fit a new rubber in ??  is it best to get it done propper or do it your self , also is it best to get the more expensive one or the cheaper one ?? is the cheaper one anygood ?
also where is it best to get your oil filter from and shocks for the back tyres ? lots of questions but not lots of money lol,
many thanks

Brookie

The more expensive one is best-just bought one from Auto Europe-they have both.
You will need someone to help fitting windscreen-

Some rubbers dont fit with a nice flare to keep water from getting between rubber and bodywork. Take Brookies advice as he will know the local products.easy to fit if original toughened type windscreen but needs 2 people. Personally wouldnt do a laminated if inexperienced. easy to crack if too much pressure applied to edge or twisted

Hey Dave it’s not all that hard, I do all my glass fitting but you need the right equipment cord, a sucker grip and window sealer. Yeah I hear all the guys saying you don’t need sealer but I put it in as insurance, better safe than sorry.
Once you have the rubber on the glass, the sealer in the rubber and sitting in position, it’s easy. If you’re not sure about doing it yourself, give me a ring 94054072, stick the screen in the back and drive around to my place and I will help you.
