We are visiting UK and SwitzerlandHi all,
We are currently visiting UK and Switzerland, have been doing some Kombi spotting, although we are not all that mobile.
In a town near Basel I found a 1975 restored ex army, camper, owned by a student getting ready for a camping trip to Germany this week end.
We had agood talk and he showed me all over his van. Newly painted yellow and whie, with a new pop top just fitted, no canvas a yet.
I may meet him again and give him the forum details.
In the UK found the VW magazine Camper and Bus, great mag lots of good photos and stories, I will bring back the last two months editions.
The pommy members will be familular with this mag. ( sorry Dave)
Missed Alfreds, may get there for July as I get back 4 July.
Hope also to go on the next run to Northam for German car day, my van is at Europe Autos with Eric for some repairs)
