WANTED: Splittie hire for weddingMy dream is to have a couple of splittie's for our wedding cars. When we were in Perth for 'Day of the VW' in Dec 07 i spoke to a few splittie owners about coming down to albany to chaufer(sp?) our wedding in late Jan09. If those people or anyone else interested in making my wish come true, please email me for further discussion. Also any advice on planning a wedding would be helpful too!! lol |

Still looking...Hey EveryoneWe are still looking for some kombi's to use for our wedding in late January next year. I haven't heard from anyone yet so i thought if i gave you all a little more information it might interest some people. What will you get out of helping us? To start you will be able to enjoy the fantastic coastal scenery that Albany has to offer, meet with the local VW enthusiast's, get to know us and our VW collection which includes the bay pano, a modified baja and a cute 60's beetle not to mention our toy collection and memorabilia, and last but not least share a huge part in the biggest day of our life's... The Wedding. Our ceremony will be held at local beach with the reception to be held in a coastal location overlooking Princess Royal Harbour. They advertise in the VW Club of WA magazine that they have classic kombis for hire. One of the main problems with getting private people to do what you want to do, is that if anything goes wrong you will not have public liability insurance cover, which could smash your life up forever if you get sued succesfully for millions of dollars. If you rent their kombis you will have complete PLI cover and you will be in complete control of what happens, where and when. I strongly recommend that regardless of where you get your kombis that you hire them from insured professionals rather than from uninsured individuals. PS Join the WA VW Club and get a 20% discount. Also if you get your kombis from them, please tell them that you were referred to them by the WA VW Club. |
