THE VALLA DIARIESHullo allSo you don't think I'm ignoring everybody, I'm posting all the Valla updates and pics here: http://www.noh2o.org/viewtopic.php?t=100 It's too much of a hassle to put them all on noh20, kk, kombiklub, aussie veedubbers, dsk etc etc - so I just picked one to go with for now. Hope you are all doing well in the West and good luck to Scotia and Phatbus for their upcoming transport of busses

The journey has begun!Well yesterday I said goodbye to 'Kevin', I have entrusted him to CEVA. Next time I see him it will be in Sydney in two weeks. Yes guys, last chance, just two weeks till Valla - come on I know you want to go!!!!Anyway, I was amazed how sad I felt leaving 'Kevin' with strangers. The young man who took him round the back took a few goes to get him started, I felt like saying 'be gentle with him (and patient)'. I hope they treat him right.

pathetic eh? I didn't think it would bother me but its like leaving your baby for the first time, we have worked so hard getting Kevin to where he is now and then we have to hand him over to complete strangers, and trust them to look after him. | ||

This trip is now off for me. Things just didn't come together in time and CEVA couldn't get my bus to Sydney in time either 
Well maybe now I'll have time to get my Fuel injection up and running before the next big run. |

It would be great to have a few of us going next time, we have two years to plan it! Brian is having problems with his bus over in NSW so don't know if he is going to be driving back with us or not, will find out on Friday when we get there.

Jean, I can sympathise. I was without my Lola for nearly 3 weeks recently and I missed her desperately. Tragic, hey?! Missed just looking at her and giving her a pat every day. My kids think I'm mental. 
Anyway, look forward to meeting you and Kevin when you arrive at Valla. He does look very forlorn there - he looks lovely though. |

Brian, I've just read your entire thread - you're hysterical. Love the bit about the taxi to Villawood. I was reading it and thinking to myself "god, I hope they got a train", but no! Sorry, but I did laugh at your expense.
Look forward to seeing you at Valla - look for me at the WhizBang stand. I don't think your Smiggins will be hard to miss.
