I've just finished as much as I can do on the van as we move house on Friday, going from Aroona to Little Mountain, not far, but hampers work, especially as I work in Canberra during the week.

Replaced all the windows seals and front scraper, tinted windows, fitted TMI seat upholstery, full wagenswest lowering kit front and rear. Replaced all wheels bearings, brake cyls and shoes, handbrake cables, clutch cable.
It has been an absolute pain in the arse having to do it at weekends, but I don't think it's turned out too bad, still a couple of things to do though.
I'll take a few more pics when I give it a wash and get it back in the drive.

Wow, it looks great! I also like the sliding window, handy... Well done on the weekend slog - I take it that everything worked, and you enjoyed the test drive?
Do you have a tow-bar? - the kombi would be handy for moving items you don't trust to a removalist (or can't easily pack...).

Cheers, got rid of all quarter lights in the rear, leaked too much, the sliders work really well, if you open them both and the front quarters, it's like a cyclone in there. No towbar, but will take the seats out and haul stuff that way. Done it in the past, it's amazing what you can cram in a kombi, had a queen size bed and matress in there once, was a squeeze, but came out the other end ok

Are they white-wall tyres or an insert? They look great... I especially like them in conjunction with the white hubs...
Mmmm, I am thinking I should get rid of our quarter-windows too, and install sliders...

The tyres are bonded white band, made as part of the tyre, I think they're Hankook brand. Quarters are a pain, when I took mine out they destroyed themselves because of rust, luckily none of that had gone into the body itself.

My passion is splitties, but this is the first bay that I didn't want to let go, might have something to do with it being a lowlight deluxe though. It's the original colour, Savannah Beige and Antarctic White, which roughly translates to Poo Brown and Grubby greyish white when it hasn't had a wash.
It's never ending though, I've got the 64 Dormie to do next, then the other halfs ghia could do with a spruce, then I may be allowed to get around to my 57 Panel, but that only needs new paint.
