2 Hour Engine Transaxle pull in the dirtThought I'd post a few pictures that may be of some use to someone in the future.
I found myself under the gun to get a good transaxle and the only one was the 5K rebuilt one in the bus I was going to sell. I had 2 hours to pull both units in the dirt tonight and just got it done . I left the brake cables attached so I didn't have to remove the 46mm axle nuts and took them out as 1 unit then seperated them later. I'm sore from reaching over the trans to get the darned clutch cable off. It's loaded up in the truck now ready to go.

That darned clutch cable nearly killed my arm! I'd lost my tool to remove the wing nut with.
I had to steal the transaxle out of one Bus to stuff into a container to go with a bus I'd sold but just before shipping it started popping out of 4th so I had to make it right. It went into the 65 Kombi Red with Chrome bumpers.
