If you are going to have only one VW book, this is the one to get IMO.... It would also make a great "deserted island" book - if that island is in Lost....

YES It is a great book-very hard to explain- written by a genius scientist who turned hippy-had a few wives-many children and could teach kids and adults to pull VWs apart in simple language. The illustrations are brilliant and you can open anywhere and read and it is not usual for "how to" books to be enjoyable. ------------------------------------------------------ |

I will have to try and get into bessie and see what books i have. Its been raining non stop here for past 36 hours, so will wait till the morrow if its stopped. It is slowing down so should be good. I think weve had about 46mm or inches how ever they calculate it, back yard is flooded.
