National Motoring Heritage Day- VW Club Run May 09Hi everyone...there's a VW Club run this Sunday 17th May and all are welcome. Here are the details:Meet in KINGS PARK at 10am in the DNA Tower carpark - opposite the Women's Memorial Fountain. Will will have a drive up to York for lunch and visit to the York Motor Museum while we’re there. Peter, our host, who owns a Jetta, said he would endeavour to get a couple of the old VWs they have running for us on the day. We will also get a tour of the Museum. Entry to the museum is normally $8.80 per person, but discounted to $5.50 per person for car club bookings & non members. CLUB MEMBERS WILL GET IN FREE - so bring your membership card. Allowing about 2 hours to get up there, we can have lunch at the pub, or you can bring a picnic lunch. We will visit the museum after lunch. We will then drive back through Northam and/or Toodyay depending on time. Hope to see some of the kk crew there...
