Mini 50th car display 25th Oct 09 - please come along!
Hi, i'm Erika, a member of the southern districts mini club of WA.
Every year, a car display is held at manning park (spearwood) in october, however this year should be a bigger show than usual as it's also the 50th anniversary of the mini. If anyone from WA would like to come along, perhaps to discuss future events our clubs could organise together, you would all be most welcome. I plan to get that sunday off of work so i should be there, and there will also be a small marquee set up sor the southern districts mini club if you would like to speak to any of our members
These are the instructions we have been given for the day, i don't know if members of the public are required to make a donation or if it's just for the cars that will be on display.
Minis (along with other classic cars form the P76 club) will be displayed from 09:30am til 03:30pm. The display at Manning Park is held in conjunction with the Cockburn Fair, and entry is a gold coin donation to Variety.
The display at Manning Park is scheduled to be the biggest show of Mini's seen in WA and we are hoping to have in excess of 150 Mini's on display throughout the day.
Um i think that's it, should be a fun day, would be great to see some of you guys down there if you can make it
