hi all
just saying hello to all you kombi lovers , i hope to be getting one soon , well i hope so , looking for one around the $5,000 mark or a little less as my wife says lol many thanks

Do you know if you are looking for a pop-top or any other specifics like seats/bed?

yes im looking for a bay / poptop or not needs to be in ok condition , running and on the road , got a couple to look at this week , so you never know might have one soon

yes will do hahah lol  ill get there first ha , have seen a few , but first one was full of rust second was ok , just a little to much work for me , not to much time , work nights and days being a chef , i want one thats needs some work but not lots of welding so on . good look
they do come around sometimes lol ha

the quoka seems to have a few on it , have seen around 10 over the last few months , but some are down south , im looking for a bay  1970 on , low light , but dont mind as long as its in ok condition

Did not see the one in Clackline-it is not far from me- I think it could be a 1600 which I have seen often and drives very well from the way it looks on the road

It was poptop and white with orange stripe- the guy had two some years ago and parted out one to make a good one- we bought furniture from him.
Clackline is small place so not many Kombis Very Happy

Well the 2 I looked at in Hilton,were um,er.............lets say over priced?Wink Wink

I'll whack a couple photos up later , if anyones interested,one was a 71 model,not a camper,but had a R&R bed in back,no poptop,the other was T3 83 model,photos now up

Hi all

Well ive committed a SIN....!

I couldnt find the Kombi I wanted,so Ive bought an 89 toyota.....93000 on clock since new!,emmaculate cond,drives like a newy,Hope We still can come on a few runs with you guys,let me know the "rules" Smile  Smile ,may look in the future for a Kombi,but for now,we're happy!

Yes it is OK Rod- they even let me bring Nissan Trakka.
This will encourage you further as you can now look for perhaps a cheaper Kombi to restore and have completed by the time the Toyota will need replacing. Smile
Sinners should also read this and say 3 Hail Kombis

We were cruising into Hobart on freeway in Trakka at 100k and a Kombi poptop went past like we were standing still. Met him later and it was a 1600 lowlight.
