Kombi South West TourA few Kombis may be visiting SW of WA approx mid July-Visiting Canal Rocks CP, Taunton Farm CP at Cowtown, Augusta CP, Nannup CP etc but not tied to this- maybe 3-4 days will suit some-others may like a week or more No convoys or fixed schedule- always with 3-4 hours drive from Perth metro- stop where you want but opportunity to meet up at various places. There is also many freecamping spots in this area. Wineries, surf, fishing, caves, historic sites, old mills etc. If interested please post. ----------------------------------- |

July is a great time to travel the South West of WA in a Kombi. Engine runs cool, the touristy spots are less crowded and it's the best time to be visiting the wineries etc. You may have to dodge the odd shower of rain at that time of the year so wipers need to working  [url][/url]

Hopefully I'll be living down there (Nannup way) by then, so may have a spot for crew to park overnight and a hot shower to share

Rest Point CP Walpole
This is a great park and could be one of the best in Australia- great sites and ideally situated to suit all tastes. Great 18 hole golf course next door also bowls with incredible views as do some holes on the golf course-one hole is nicknamed heartbreak hill. http://www.restpoint.com.au/

I was looking at a trip south in July myself.. hopefully 'Georgie' is on the road by then.. If not DC 'Tina' may get the run...
Problem is the Boss only does 5 stars , may take some convincing to camp out at that time of the year..
