KKombii's other passion is bike riding, nothing too flash, a bright green hybrid bike included in the packaged to ride from Albany to Perth in Feb 2006, called the Great Western Australian Bike Ride.
I did 1000 km, camping along the way.
The best holiday ever for a chicken of 58!!
Born the same year as VW started.
I still ride casually but Ruby now is my attention grabber.
Ruby at the river Vasse at Busselton and Ruby at Dunsborough, January 2008.

My husband used to cycle quite a bit and wants to get back into it more seriously, he has his eyes on a new racer Shocked

although i think 1000 kms would take him a while to build up to.

This is the group I did the Albany to Perth ride with a couple of years ago.
Been hanging out for the next big ride, this is it...I was getting all excited on Saturday when I received the email above, and told my wife, who said
" have you forgotten something, ,I quote..."Your (our) daughter is getting married on the 29th of March, get your priorities right"
What could I say?

I will still inquire and maybe join the ride on Monday and still get several days in the saddle.

The last ride I did was the best holiday I've had.
Truly exilerating and the company and fellowship was wonderful.
And note, no age barrier, there was a great mix and probably more
45- 65 year old than young-uns.

is it my imagination or is that kombi a cherry colour?
