was wondering if anyone could give me a answer on this,
where else can i jack the van up apart from the 4 jacking points that the vw jack fits? can i go on the gear box, diff thing.? really sorry that i dont know the correct term, and that im asking such a lame question, but when i jack up on the rear, the front wheel on that side comes up as well. ive got a trolley jack so going up in the middle wouldnt be a problem.

Don't put it under your engine/oil sump as you could do damage (eg break the engine bolts) ... I usually put the trolley jack under the axle, but it would probably be okay on the chassis rails as well (if they are not rusted). Also, make sure you wedge the tyres (both sides) as well as use axle stands - don't get under the kombi while it is on the trolley jack.

ive been going up on the chassis rail bcause i didint want to break anything, i was just wandering if there was a quicker way, so i dindt have to jack boths sides to get the axle stands under, i guess i can jack it up on the axle then,
