Heretic's BusCol bought Myrtle the Turtle down to us for a photo shoot and in typical female fashion she chose some very quickly fading light for herself to be shot in! Talk about cranking up the ISO!

Myrtle really is gorgeous. Nicest green I've seen in ages. Kind of bluey, if that makes sense. 
Himself has done a really nice job on that, and we know Brett just loves any excuse to pull his ISO out these days!

Hmmmmmm ....... never been to Perth DiHmmmmmm ....... never been to Perth Di ..... but would love to go.
One day I'll get there and I'm sure it will coincide with a Cricket Test or Rugby Test(hopefully against SA or England), a Force/Reds game or even a Lions/Eagles or Lions/Port game.
Margaret River for surf and wine ........ hmmmmmm .......
but a real highlight would be the .......
Matilda Bay Brewery ..... ha ha .....

Thanks guys. Finally happy with her having gone over the body a bit and doing some sorting on suspension ,steering and motor w new exaust.
Runs and handles nicely . Normal when we sell them eh?
good enough that i would have kept her except Alanna and i need the cash. Still 2 at home to get on the road including Pauls final one with a blueprinted motor by one of our local talented petrol heads.Has gone to a good home tho[ well will this week] newest member on kk,who is keen to complete the ressurection. Plenty still to do.
She had a full respray inside on properly prept body[as differing from a few of the less than 'professional' restos around, when first brought for Alanna to trip down nth NSW coast so is a sound canvas. Look foward to seeing the final results. Has provided much fun and a few trips [epecially Nimbin ,Im pushing Brewmaster to post some of the photos]

PeoplE may ask why I am posting at this unearthly hour but sick Col visited us and satyed over Saturday night and 24 hours later I wake up at 2.30 with a sore throat and a bit of congestion....
Col if this is the start of my third bout I will kill you and photograph every little grimace of pain throughout your long slow torturous death......

And so the saga continues.....still no proof of purchase so i am getting a stat dec sorted out tonight, klaus is off to the kombi doctor tomorrow to get his pre rego illnesses fixed so will keep you posted.

So what's the reason for no paperwork .........?
Hope you don't get flagged like with our 72 Beetle ........
Here was our saga:
When changing over the ownership details with Qld Transport we found out that Vera the 72 Beetle has lived a chequered past by being stolen 28 years before ....... up went the red flag at Qld Transport....... only took them that long to realise ....
Still flagged but the Qld Police say it is not a car of interest and Qld Transport don't know what to do ..... first of all told us to get a new VIN number stamped ..... then changed their minds ....... luckily we could not find anyone who could do it or knew someone who did it!
Qld Transport don't know how to change it as there is a suggestion that it was stolen in NSW. Still has original plates and everything else ....... too hard to stop the computerised records of Qld Transport!
