Welcome to the KK and have visited your site- I think the Phillipines have a nearly as long connection with VWs and Kombis as Australia.

there are fewer type 2's in PI as compared to your country... (got the info by reading "history page" in KK site) this commin 22nd of november a type 2 meet is scheduled at UP grounds here in quezon city... we're expecting some buses,splities,dc,campers from all over metro manila and nearbye provinces... will post some pix here Very Happy

btw, i've notice that the australian campers have a "bull bar" infront where the spare tire is mounted is this OEM or aftermarket accessorie readily available in the market?

A lot of our kangaroo or roo bars came as original equipment on factory approved poptop campers- made more room in back-
You can buy used ones but not readily available new though a small manufacturer could easily make one.
Many people remove them now but very handy if you do go "bush" or out of the metro area.

Govt. rules for bars are much stricter now.
