Hello fellow dub nuts. Here's my 65 Devon which is currently under the surgeon's knife. It was last on the road over 10 years ago and has passed through several members of our forum to finally get to me. It was pretty rotten, however the original oak Devon interior is 80% there, and in good nic. Just missing load door cabinets, table and Easicool.
It's getting new floor, sills, front section, doglegs, doors, outriggers etc, and being done by a specialist VW panelbeater. My original plan was to make her a steering box scraper on chrome Fuchs, but now i've gone all mature, and she's gonna be a stocker - standard height and rims on whitewalls, and everything taken back to as original as we can. The original paint was sea blue/blue white, and will run a new 1600 TP.
This is going to be a keeper, so i want to do it right first time. She should be on the road towards the end of the year - yehaa! I also have a Cal look 60 Beetle, and this satisfies any lowrider urges i may have in the meantime...
