Not bad resto for over $25,000
to be fair . It did have the doors ,poptop[of sorts] bumpers, glass, with it. Just think the chooks had had a good scratch first. No sign of all the shiny bits that were supposedly supplied to go on it. Magpies??
Wonder if he gave the rubbish ones back to his customers and kept the better ones in a secret stash in currimbin valley. Also curious if the ones transported to a certain lawers office in southport were the same ones that went to auction at Lloyds.
Guess time [and police] will tell.

I think we all suspect the answers!

I am still shocked at the apparently parasitic intentions of these so-called "restorers" - and disgusted at the apparent support given to them by others.... the solicitor gives the impression of being the brains behind the enterprise - it appears they thought that they were "untouchable" due to their legal connections, even verbally threatening legal action against disgruntled customers. Those that knowingly supported them (or helped disguise their crimes) also deserve the coming villification - many people could have been spared the suffering and losses if the restorer's allies hadn't immediately rallied to his defence.

The parking of the kombis outside the law-firm suggests that they remain confident they will get away with their crimes - and may mean they intend to repeat their actions. It certainly reeks of arrogance. While there are still many victims uncompensated, it is a disgrace that they appear to be still profiting from their crimes. Sad

I doubt this was an isolated occurence, and it is likely there are other dodgy businesses - so be very careful about any requests by restorers to pay upfront, and make sure work is completed before paying further installments.
