Genuine VW seals vs. repro seals?

Brigit leaks like a sieve due to her very brittle door and window seals, every door and window seal needs to be replaced excepting the tailgate seal which was replaced just before I bought her 6m ago. I have been looking at prices for seals and I'm tossing up between saving to do them all at once (save on labour costs maybe?) or putting in one new seal at a time in as I can afford it.
Anyway, the difference in price between the genuine VW seals and the repro seals is huge. Is there a great deal of difference in quality? Is VW better quality or is it just swanky show car stuff? As a solo Mama in unpaid employment my income isn't huge, if there is little or no difference in quality I'd rather put the cheaper repro seals in and be able to replace them all a lot sooner than if I used the more expensive VW seals. I'm wondering whether the benefit of keeping the water out (indicator flasher unit filled with water recently  Shocked ) outweighs any benefit of getting VW branded seals?
Also, suggestions on where in Perth to get the new door and window seals fitted for a reasonable price would be welcome, I don't think I could do it myself without some serious glass breakage. I am happy to travel NOR or to some other whoop-whoop location Wink

Is there really no advice on this from anyone in the crew?!
Brookie

There is a difference but not a lot in side window seals- I always try for genuine windscreen seals which are about $30 dearer.
Get a quote from Mick Motors for both types.

Thanks Brookie. Do Mick Motors fit them, or just supply?

ETA: I also want to replace the glass in 3 windows, want to put solid glass on the very back driver's side window and sliders in the middle drivers and passenger windows. The quarter windows that were there have been removed and replaced with very dodgy fitting perspex, so I'm not messing with anything original in putting sliders in. Where's good in Perth to source glass (and have it fitted)?

Mick Motors are in Brisbane so it is a supply only

Any windscreen place should be able to fit all windows.
Can't remember names but there are glass places in Bunbury and pretty sure there is one in Busselton
