Looks like a good base to start with- seems to be missing some tinware and seal.

When you get a chance put your location in Profile and you will get more feedback.

Hi martjk,
Looks like you have the basis for a great restoration story and photos.
Please keep the forum informed.
Go ahead and give a speel about the rest of your new passion (if not yet a passion, this will develop into a consuming love affair that knows no boundries!)
If it's driveable, come along to Alfred's in May, and introduce your self around.
We are all friends waiting to shake your hand.

has ? got a name yet??
Rod

thanks for your replys,
my first major project is to replace the panel and beam a the rear( which ive just managed to get) which was cut out when i bought the van, and im also trying to get hold of some tin as i am missing the whole peice at the rear, and some foam to seal the engine compartment, but really i want to get on and get the rear sorted asap, need to find a mobile welder.
who do you guys use? and where is Alfreds?
Rod

Mart

heres some info on Alfreds

From 7pm on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of every month meet for a burger or the famous Pea and Ham soup at "Alfred's" on the Corner of Meadow & James St in Guildford.
Gabbo's Run

Make sure you get the right foam seal, not any foam. get the right one for about 50 bucks and the shiny side goes up. its easy to put in with 2 people. there are heaps of places over there you can get from.

will try to get to alfreds in may, providing i get the work done that i want to do, going to drop the engine soon to get the welding done, thats also an excuse to fix the fuel sender, and paint the engine bay.
im kinda holding off at the moment as im waitng for the muir book and the bentley to turn up, before i go touching things that i dont understand, this will be the first time i droped a air cooled engine......wish me luck!!!!
