Father's Day treat

I had a great day and was spoilt rotten but without a doubt the highlight for me was a trip to my 'olds' in the Kombi.  What made it so special was it was the first time that my wife had come for a drive in it.  I've had it for about three months now but my wife said " you won't catch me dead in that". Sad
I've gradually been working her around.  On her birthday I made a treasure hunt for her birthday presents and would end each clue with a ----. For example - You'll get the next clue, that's for certain.  It's hidden behind the lounge room ------- (curtain). Well the last clue read 'Are you mentally tired? Do you feel like a zombie? You'll find the presents in the back of the -----"  So she had to go in and get them.  That was a starting point to a lot of good natured ribbing.
So, top of the Father's Day wish list was the family drive.  I actually overheard her telling her Mum that it was pretty good!  I'll start scheming for the next one now.  Wink
