Electric Fuel PumpI need to change my fuel pump to electric1. What PSI pump do I need for some new Brossel Carbs... Choices 1.5-4 or 4-8? 2. Do I need to remove or block off my old petrol pump? |

I have an electric pump that was on 2 litre with standard carbs. You need to remove pump lever at least and it is best to put on blanking plate. Swap you electric for standard pump. ______________________________________________ |

Brookie you did not answer the question.....as far as the swap...- the old petrol pump has a loose brass inlet. Where do you get a blanking plate? | ||

Usually cut them from piece of about 3-5mm alloy and drill two holes and use original nuts. Use pump base as template or the gasket if it comes off cleanly. I assumed you had mechanical and wanted to change to electric. ---------------------------------------------

Sorry for misunderstanding-mine was mounted in same area as original pump. |
