Eastern States WeatherHope our Q'land and NSW members did not suffer any damage to homes -and Kombis of course- with the tremendous storms sweeping through the area.
Perhaps the famous Queensland forecaster Inigo Jones was right and the drought would break at end of 2008 and a very wet 2009.

It's still dry in Melbourne! The decade-long "drought" here is starting to look like a permanent event... (Although it is "threatening" to drizzle today, which will just evaporate anyway...)
Best wishes to everyone up north, these floods seem to be a regular event these days - I hope no-one suffers permanent damage to home or kombi, and that all family and pets remain unharmed... our thoughts are with you.

Brissie certainly copped it.
Ill probably get into trouble . But sent kyra a sms to see if she was ok and she replied she was and had about 16 folks for tea that had lost their homes . So good on ya kyz. Glad to see the city folks doing it the country way . I had seen someone on the tele complaining how long it took ses to respond. My thought was ,get out there and start it yourself twit.
