Dwellingup invites kombis to Little Miss Sunshine Sat11/4/09Hey guys, my Mother, who is a kombi nut from way back is starting to play movies in Dwellingup.
"We are about to start showing movies in the Dwellingup Community Hall and
the first movie we are showing is "Little Miss Sunshine" we intend to create
a Kombi theme for the day and wanted to offer a free pass for two people
to any of your members who drive to Dwellingup in a Kombi to see the movie.
The movie will be shown on Easter Saturday 11 April 2009 at 7pm. Parking
around the hall will be restricted to Kombis only. Tickets $10 to others
who come along.

I'm sure she'd love everyone else to come along also, but there is not much parking around the town hall.
Some kombis could camp in their yard overnight.

It's coming up
Little miss sunshine at Dwellingup town hall over the Easter long weekend. Camping and accommodation is always booked out in Dwellingup over the long weekend so my parents have organised camping in their frends field in Dwellingup. He has a toilet that is available but no shower to the field we have permission to use the visitor centres one. The field is near lane pool reserve swimming area. I'll organise a bbq for the area in case people don't have cooking facilities in their busses/beetles/T3's.
$5 a night camping for all VW's (not just kombis) or associated peoples, from fri-sun if people want.
Parking at the front of the hall for kombis.
Bon fire will be up and running.
I was thinking of a quick tour of town and surrounding sites (especially wineries and cider brewery) if people are keen.
Free double pass to the movie for Kombi drivers, $10 for everyone else

Everyone is still talking about the Kombis, you may have thought they didn't notice but believe me they did and everyone in Dwellingup was very impressed. You really made my event complete, I can't thank you enough. We look forward to catching up with you all somewhere when we get our Syncro back. You guys rock!
