This campsite at Honeymoon Pool on the Collie River is very popular. Toilets, cold showers but no power. Individual bays with small fireplace, barbecue hotplate and wood supplied.Honour system of payment. Ranger calls each day. Big camping area for groups. Not recommended during school camps, Easter or school holidays.Great for overnight stop when touring.

Wagin Caravan Park

Practically in centre of town- only small park and not too much shade but immaculate. Run by Shire and caretaker calls after 5pm to collect fees.

It also has honour system for laundry and showers- you leave $2 in tray for use if you are just passing through and need a shower or do laundry.
Wagin is also nice wheatbelt town with lots of character and history.

Canal Rocks Caravan Park

Canal Rocks is famous for its big waves breaking over the rocks.
The CP is just over sandhills and is an excellent park. All facilities including restaurant and games room. Ideal with kids.
Only minutes from wineries, restaurants, surfing and fishing beaches.

Rangie this time as we were going to D'entracasteaux National Park and Yeagarup Dunes-strictly 4WD but have been close with Kombi

This may close next year (2007) to be replaced by huge resort development.

Taunton Farm Holiday Park, Cowaramup

This is ranked as the best park in WA.
4 ks from Cowaramup on Bussell H'way-close to Margaret River and all the vineyards and surfbeaches.
Clean-great facilities and huge bough shed-with barbecues, tables, open fireplace, and a great place to meet fellow campers

Esperance Seafront Caravan Park, Esperance

This great park is right on the waterfront- close enough to walk to town for exercise. Also close to the Jetty which is very long and has water and cleaning tables for fishermen and women. Shop on site for basics.

Can take big rigs to tent campers and very popular.

Bruce Rock Caravan Park

Bruce Rock Caravan Park.

This WA country town really markets itself with very cheap land for newcomers and even free industrial blocks for those wishing to establish business.
Very neat Caravan Park with great adjoining facilities including indoor cricket area- open like a tennis court, swimming pool with slides and wading pools for littlies.
Mini golf, beach volleyball court, shop etc.
All within few minuts walk of town centre. Pool and other facilities closed during winter months.

This would be a great inland spot for those wanting to see WAs wildflowers. Bruce Rock is an easy drive and leads to many other wheatbelt towns.

Could be a good weekend away as roads are very good.

Brookie

Nanga Brook near Dwellingup
Great spot with forestry trails and fantastic scenery- just over an hour from Perth-ideal for Kombis. Close to many small towns and great weekend area.
