If anyone is interested: A VW RALLY RUN
We meet up at Apex Park, Caboolture (date to be fixed to suit all...sometime early October) which is just off Morayfield Rd ,Caboolture in the A.M.
There's plenty of room for parking, there's a council barby there, but the rotten thing takes hrs just to cook a snag on..
So possible to bring a big one for all to use.
There will be huge savings for all with healthy fruit and vege stand at the meet, courtesy of combi-luver.
While the foods hotting up, There's swings and stuff for the kids, and if they look around there are some wild life birds and big goanna thingy's to see, plus we can make up some more fun stuff for them to do..like treasure hunts and ball games..depending on how many come..
After lunch..we convoy west up the Dag highway to the Old Woody Pub at Woodford (not far) for a coldy or 3 in their cosy beer garden...
Before leaving, everyone will be given a sheet of clues and questions they must complete. Things to find...look out for, take note of..certain places to go, certain people to speak to for the right answer.
This is not a race...speed is not the aim of finishing this rally. Everyone will leave Apex Park ten minutes apart.
The prize (dunno yet..but it'll be a ripper) will go to the vanner with 'all or most' of the questions or clues answered.
I'll get in touch with the woody pub to be ready for us..I'll also see if the kids can go for a bit of a ride with the local fire brigade on their Firetruck.
Later, afternoon tea will be served at the pub...then we can make our way back down the mountain to Caboolture where we can go our own ways..
Or..if your up to it...Dinner at the Caboolture RSL from 5:30pm. (This can also be arranged with RSL if the numbers are there)
So let us know people...all are welcome.

well, we have a hiccup....the woody pub will be under renovation for a few months...so, no beer garden...no meals or enough room in the bar...
