Buying parts from UK and USAWith the current $AUD to £ at 50p+ it is very economical to buy from UK and USA is as nearly attractive.
Our links section as well other forums have links to many UK , USA and European suppliers.

Brookie,
Have you had any dealing with Creative Engineering in the UK ?
I have an order with them and so far it has taken over 2 months and the order hasn't even been sent yet. (not very good on the communications side)
Also had some dealings with Aircooled.net in the US, have to organise your own freighter as they don't send international.. unless it's to Canada.
Found a freight company in Aus that is doing door to door and all the customs work, price is reasonable considering the bulk of the items.

Not personally but they appear to have good reputation by write ups and reports in UK mags.

No personal dealings, but remember a lot of comments on SSVC site
Very good products, but as you say, a lack of communication.
Cant remember anyone saying parts haven't arrived, just a wait for them.

I found Cip1 in California to be great. They are a little x'y on postage but a Medium sized box only took 1 week to arrive.
