Bus rust/panel/paint repair and resto in Perth...?Seems like our choice of panel beater may have fallen through and I need to start researching alternatives in case he spits the dummy...
We need some rust repairs to our '64 split... I'll probably be stripping it then blast, prime and go from there. Need someone who has done buses before (not necessarily splits, but busses) and can take on this kind of work.
Any recommendations?
Have seen the posts on here already but it seems people have only had minor rust repairs and re-sprays. I need the lot

I think some of those in Recommended repairers etc can do the lot- unfortunately there are not enough around to handle the resto scene for all the work around-not just Kombis.
For example Gary Gibb did a few Jaguars but was then inundated with Jags .
He has done Monaros, Kombis of course, classic race cars but like most cannot afford to employ extra tradesmen as expense is too great.

Definitely not expensive- he has done Kombis for us and other people we know.
Each one is different but there have been quite a few for KK members.

Cool, would be nice to hear about peoples experiences with this fella... and if anyone would be willing to give an idea on costs then they can always PM me

might be getting gary to sort out 66split. went to see him and have a chat the other day. seemed like a nice guy. he wasnt too sure what to quote as he dosnt really deal with insurance companys any more, but quoted me as a normal job and i recon he is too cheap will give a full report if i go ahead. dave.
