Model kombi collectionHi allI have a collection of 40 plus kombis that I sort of started 25 years ago, but only 2 are bays. One is a palstic $2 toy bought in 1981 and the other is a Tomica model from 1977. It is also right hand drive. All the rest are Splitties Have to work out how to add a photo of the collection so I can show?? Ciao Paul C |

Posting pixHey Paul, I would love to see a pic of your collection.The easiest way to post pix is to join one of the free photosharing sites (such as photobucket.com) and upload your pix to there. You can then copy/paste the link eg to insert a pic from photobucket into a post you would copy the "[img]" (4th) tag line from under the picture and then paste into the post. |

Ooooh, looks good! Great collection - it also makes me want to get some more (I only have four).
And I must say the inevitable - wouldn't it be great if they were all real kombis?!

collectionThanks, PiratekombiMy favourite one is the red one at the back on the bottom row. It is remote control. With wooden floorboards in the house, it pretty much goes as fast as my real kombi! The bay is the small red kombi on the bottom shelf. A colleague from work just gave it to me a couple of months back. His father bought it new in the '70s, but it didn't fit with his HO model railway, so he didn't want it. Good score. Cioa PC |

Get into trouble with Pussycat when a new toy appears. Bays are hard to find but a few around. Need MORE!!!!
The Bay group. The one on left is a tinplate clockwork. The middle is from Mojo in Mogo or is it the other way round and the little tatty camper is a matchbox. 
This is Bling. A bit glitzy but I had to have it. From Tassie. 
Smallest in the collection. About an inch long (sorry 25mm)
