Anyone have property around Blackwood River region (WA)?

My partner and I have separated. At this stage we both hope to reconcile, but for a few reasons we need to live apart for the time being.
I need to have some time free from the soul-destroying-city to collect my thoughts and work out what my next move is. I am looking at heading down to the Blackwood River region (i.e. Nannup, Bridgetown, Greenbushes, Manjimup, Balingup or anywhere in between) for 2-3 months with our daughter (19 months) and our puppy.
Because I don't want to be there for more than 2-3 months I don't want to sign a lease with a real estate agency as there is a 6 month minimum. I'm looking for someone with a holiday place who would like to rent it to me for the short term.
If any KK members have a place suitable that you'd be willing to rent out could you send me an email please?
I'll be in Nannup staying with a family friend for the next week, so won't be online again until Sunday 8th March, I'll reply to anyone after then.
Cheers.

Kimba you will love the area- we had a hobby farm for a few years just out of Nannup-convenient to everywhere.
If you are staying there with friends you won't take long to find somewhere- put an ad in Quokka for housesit in area.

I do love the area, I have lots of friends down that way, and it has always felt like my heartland. I'd dearly love to be there full time, that's the reason I want to spend a couple of solid months down there with Zaelie, I want to see if she'll be happier there too.
Thanks for suggesting the quokka, I didn't think of that.

Just wanted to say good luck Kimba, hope everything works out for you.

Brookie, didn't know you had a hobby farm, that is my little "good life" dream  Laughing

Yes -it is the "good life" but like the TV show it has positive ans negatives-the positives are way ahead though.
