Anyone for a splitty coffee table? In one of my more creative moments, I made this over the weekend:
The wood is Marri, which is native to WA and very beautiful (AND cheaper than Tassie Oak!!), and the pop-out frame came from Pash's '59 Bus (he's gone polished, i expect ). When I get round to it, I shall be making a 'still life' of attractively arranged dead kombi engine parts and vw toys and other assorted crud which will sit under the glass ... for the moment its just held up by 4 valve springs.
Silly, innit!

OMG thats filth! '66 Jazzy... and blocks and binding as well! Drooool
Steve, we need to become best friends, and you need to write a will
Take a look at www.offsetguitars.com - (veedubs are not the only forums!)... they even have their own version of the busselecta ("the dressing room")... you can make your own virtual offset!!
Yeah, acoustics at Muresk would be good... or maybe bring an inverter and a couple of practice amps
Graham Coxon rips it up:
