Hey, beautiful work on the 9 seat bus.
I've just made a post about an 8 seat project I want to start, depending on quotes. Is that van yours? How much to get those seats done? Where did you get them done? Are they vinyl/cloth/combo?

They were done In Northam WA and cost around $1400. They were done in marine grade vinyl.

thanks for the prompt reply. Was the $1400 just for the upholstering of all the seats? Or was it for all the seats from scratch?
I haven't seen many about with the middle row of seats, mostly 4 seat vans.

Just the upholstery. The 8 and 9 seaters are Microbus's and came fully fitted.
Gilly on the link was an ex RAAF bus and they are a little bit better rust wise due to specific military paint requirements.
It would be approx $20,000 to repeat Gilly again which included a rebuilt 1800, new paint, and any mechanical work needed.
My personal opinion is to stay with original engine.
You have listed many things that may only need checking rather than replacing as a well looked after bus should have had suspension, brakes , steering kept up to scratch anyway.

This is another example of a bus bought at sensible price and refurbished- shows before and after .
