77 9 seat MicrobusThough this forum was requested by members not much posting has occurred so here is some pics of a 77 9 seater-exRAAF and purchased by RAAF officer when it was put up for sale-It was painted orange and fitted with dual throat Weber- went well.
We bought it for motor to put in camper we were restoring for a friend.
12 months later we decided to put it back into life.

RAAF KombiI spent just over 20years in the RAAF and can remember seeing a few Kombi's about. I recall that they used to chop the roof out of some and put a perspex bubble in the top and use it as a mobile air traffic control vehicle. Now I wouldn't mind having one of those! That would sure impress the hell out of my wife.
I wonder what they use these days?
