74 Auto PoptopSaw an interesting 74 poptop- the type that is further forward than usual with
skylights in roof.On second thoughts may be a Aussie built Dormobile -Australian Compliance Chassis No 234 .....Automatic - usual rust but not too dramatic. Engine hasn't run for years -1800- but oil is clean and not gummy.
Fully fitted with unusual dark heavy looking furniture inc fridge and seat/bed
Would clean up reasonably well and would need repaint.
Owner not interested in selling- it is stored with 5 or 6 Mercedes from 60s and 70s and other vans and cars under corrugated iron and canvas.
He saw my MB at property next door and asked would I sell so I said no but you seem to have Kombi down back. He let me look but no to selling.
Could not get pics.
Shows they are still out there.
